Perkussiv Music proudly presents the first album by Amex: The 'Halfbar LP'. Producing a LP was always one big goal by Amex, which finally comes to reality today, the 12th anniversary of Perkussiv.
His main focus was to provide Techno-DnB in its purest, most radical, non-compromised, but yet evolved manner.
We hope you like this release, it means the world for Perkussiv and Amex, but it stands for even more:
It is the true hope and confidence that Techno-DnB will rise like phoenix from the ashes, showing it has grown up and finds its well-deserved established place, with the intention to stay. With this 'Halfbar LP', artists may be inspired to express their true selves, the inner soul and keep being original.

TN1 of Venom Inc. Audio (VIA) was kind enough to give us the honour to describe the journey of Amex and to express his thoughts on the 'Halfbar LP':
"Amex is no stranger to Techno-DnB having been hard at work in the genre long before it was even given a name. His early production efforts made a huge impact and quickly spread far beyond his native Germany, crossing Europe and even further afield.
By 2009 there was already a strong catalog of material including high-profile remixes for Nphonix and Proket, as well as a string of collaborations and original tracks such as Monsun, which is as fresh today as it was when it first arrived in my inbox all those years ago.
Having created a solid body of work he focused his attention elsewhere by providing help and support for other producers working in the same vein, and so in 2010 'Perkussiv Music' was born.
His commitment, dedication and ‘From the heart’ mantra was and still is inspirational to me and many others who call this small scene Home. Only a handful of people can claim to have influenced a genre with their musical output, even fewer can say they’ve also helped to build that genre from the ground-up.
It’s said that good things come to those who wait, I’ve been waiting patiently for the last 15 years to see this special project come to life, and now I have the greatest honour to introduce to you, The Halfbar LP.

DARK MATTERS
Grooves grooves and more grooves. Building from a dramatic start and locking you in from the first bar.
KALUM
From the heart. No compromise intro that immediately drops into a whirlwind of percussion and low frequencies.
PERKNADO
Beautifully strange. White noise, big kicks and relentless low frequencies combine for maximum energy.
TECHNOMANIA
Ready? Blast! Intricate stabs and detailed FX are arranged around a classic Halfbar that just keeps pushing until the end.
STEEER
Recursive aggression. Stripped down and deadly drums are paired with trademark Vox and a lead that will creep up on you fast.
REDUX ME
Instant Techno. Layers upon layers of grooves that are calling out to be looped. Techno-DnB is alive and well.
KERNER
Synthetic souls. Mysterious textures build over an unsettling halfbar that cuts through like a laser.
SHAMEN
Spiritual energy. Bringing the proceedings to a conclusion is Shamen, altering the genre state of consciousness forever."
